Jake started Karate

This is Jake breaking his board . He was way excited about this and has his board hung up in his room he is very proud of it!
He started karate in January 2008 and he moved up very quickly. It has been nearly a full year and he is an orange belt. His next promotion is next month and he will be a blue belt. He can't wait!

It's been a while!

Wow I have'nt blogged in a while almost a full year! I guess that tells me that I have been busy!!! What a year it has been.... Gaige turned ONE YEAR'S OLD!!! and the day after his birthday we found out that I was going to have another one!!! Wow were we suprised! I am due in Feb. on my moms birthday and we are having a baby girl!!! So to say the least it has been a little crazy at our house.

Happy New Year! We had a get together at our home for New Years. We had Grandma & Grandpa Beck, Chris & Stacy, Brittany & Colton, Ed & Lisa, James & Dayna, Lance & Natalie, and of course our family. It was a lot of fun. We played games, ate lots of good food, and enjoyed everyone's company. Everyone had a good time with lots of laughing, Good Times!

Tibble Fork American Fork Canyon

This was our first outing after Gaige was born. We went up American Fork Canyon to Tibble Fork. Jake and Rob fished and me and the girls hung out in the shade with the baby. It was really hot, but we all had a good time.

Our Motorhome

We went on vacation and drove the Oregon Coast. We ended up in the California Red Wood Forest. This was an amazing part of our trip. Rob and I loved it, as well as the kids. The trees were absolutely gorgeous and it was truly amazing. They were huge and it smelled so wonderful.

Rob with baby Gaige and Aunt Corrine. Sitting watching everyone play on the beach and looking for sea shells. Soon Rob spotted a sea lion swimming close by. He also spotted a crab. However a seagull did too. Rob decided to try and get the crab away from the seagull. This was pretty funny.

Brandi with Aunt Corrine and baby Gaige. She really didn't like the cold weather. So she headed back to be with Uncle Paul in the car. She missed out on the sea lion and the crab!!!

Grandpa and Mom at the Sea Lion caves. We are looking for whales and for sea lions in the ocean. The Ocean was gorgeous even though it was stormy. The waves crashed into the rocks and it was so amazing to listen to.

In the picture below Jake is taking it all in. He loved the Ocean so much. He loved walking along and picking up sea shells. He also loves listening to the waves crash into the rocks.

The Aster column in Astoria This was one of my favorite things we did. I climbed to the top of this with the baby in the front pack. I had to stop along the way to catch my breath. He was very heavy to pack up those 200 steps.
